The New Standard of Care: Restroom Accessibility, Menstrual Equity, & Premium Feminine Hygiene Products
That’s Besties® didn’t start as just an idea for a product.
It started with a realization. My childhood bestie and I literally tried new hygiene products as a sport — leaving us with headaches, irritation, and frustration with our bodies. The products we had access to made us question our vulva, not the product itself. What a mistake!
That experience opened our eyes to the lack of safe, organic feminine hygiene products and how little transparency existed in what we were using every day.
For something so essential, the standard of feminine hygiene — and the experience of using public restrooms — has been overlooked for far too long. Spaces labeled as “inclusive” and products labeled as “transparent” often fail to anticipate one of the most basic, everyday needs: access to reliable menstrual care.
And when that need isn’t met, people feel it.
In small moments.
In inconvenience.
In discomfort.
In having to leave, adjust, or go without.
That’s not just a gap in products.
That’s a gap in care.
From Vision to THEE Standard
When I founded That’s Besties®, I didn’t set out to create just another hygiene brand.
I set out to create a new standard.
From being a student with a vision at SCAD to now building a company rooted in revolutionizing hygiene care with organic, non-toxic feminine hygiene products and solutions that are accessible, sustainable, and actually effective — this has always been bigger than products.
It’s about understanding the assignment and delivering on it, fully.
Because for too long, the quality of feminine hygiene products — and the standard of our restrooms — hasn’t actually reflected a true standard of care.
Spaces are labeled “inclusive,” but don’t always anticipate real, everyday needs.
And a space can’t be fully inclusive if it doesn’t consider the basic hygiene needs of everyone who uses it.
That includes access to menstrual products in restrooms, something that is still missing across schools, workplaces, and public facilities.
Products are labeled “transparent,” but misleadingly leave out irritating and unnecessary ingredients — which is exactly why people are now searching for clean, non-toxic period care products they can actually trust.
Besties In The Building
That’s Besties® is building a new standard of care.
Through thoughtfully made organic feminine hygiene products, we support everyday besties with the access and quality they deserve. And through intentionally designed dispensers, we help schools, workplaces, and public spaces improve restroom accessibility by providing free, reliable menstrual care — seamlessly.
Because access shouldn’t feel complicated.
And care shouldn’t be inconsistent.
No barriers.
No uncertainty.
No compromises.
Just care, placed where it belongs.
That’s Besties® Is The New Standard
This isn’t about adding something “new” or “extra.”
It’s about correcting what’s been missing.
From menstrual equity in schools and workplaces to creating a better, more thoughtful restroom experience, the shift is already happening — and we’re here to lead it.
Companies have missed the mark on fostering real community and creating products that are truly aligned with the people they serve.
But we got you.
Welcome back bestie, we missed you.
